WELCOME TO THE SWAN FAMILY

...and the Larkin family archive.

Hi and welcome to the Swan family archive. I'm Ella and I have been playing the Sims since 2000.

Now, a little about the families - yes plural.

I started playing the Larkin family in October 2017 after finally giving the sims 4 a chance earlier that year when toddlers were patched in. To my surprise I managed to get past generation 2, and from there on, each generation only became more and more fun... until the end of generation 8 when I hit a wall.

I took a long break from legacy-style gameplay and even the game itself.

Then in October 2019 I started "casually" playing the Swan family. It was initially meant as jus that - a casual save, but it quickly developed into legacy styled gameplay. Unable to give up either legacy I decided to merge them in May 2020. 

Though formally known as The Swans, these sims trace their roots back to the Larkins as shown in the family tree.
